What is Triller?

Triller LLC, an app development business headquartered in the United States, developed the Triller App. Only one app has been made available to the public in the Google Play Store's Video Players & Editors area. In the beginning, the software was marketed as a video editor that used artificial intelligence to create music videos from a variety of footage. There are more than 80 million downloads of Triller's app, which depends purely on organic growth and superstars like Alicia Keys and Cardi B often use the platform to produce music videos.

By working with leading studio partners like Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, Triller allows users to produce content using a wide music collection and distribute it across different social networks without having to deal with licensing fees.

Musicians such as Chance the Rapper, DaBaby, Halsey and BTS are using the app to promote their songs, making it more and more famous in the music business.

Following a prohibition in India and the threat of a ban in the United States, the app became popular in India and the United States in mid-2020 as a rival to the comparable Chinese-owned app TiKTok. Further into sports promotion, Triller distributed pay per view fights between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr., as well as Jake Paul vs Ben Askren, both including appearances by well-known figures from the world of online and sports and music culture.

Why Invest in Triller Before IPO?

Proxima Media and other Hollywood studios have invested over AED 367 million in Triller to this point. Proxima was founded by legendary Hollywood producer Ryan Kavanaugh and his executive team, who have produced over 200 films grossing overAED 91 billion worldwide.

Triller's newfound financial stability comes courtesy to Proxima Media's enlistment of an impressive group of industry experts in 2019, including Silicon Valley veteran Mahi de Silva. It’s expansion and product advancements will be fueled by the fresh cash, as the music sharing, content production, and artist discovery platform aims to overtake TikTok in the music market.

Triller acquired Thuzio in Nov 2021, a provider of premium influencer events and experiences. The purchase price was not disclosed. Triller says it'll utilize the purchase to expand its live event programming.

The firm is seeking AED 1.8 billion in a so-called PIPE transaction that values the company at AED 14 billion, offering investors a 20% discount to the predicted AED 1.8 billion valuation when the company's shares go public. Although the investors have not been finalized, they will include a number of investors located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as Taiwanese investment firm Fubon Financial Holding Co., which is run by billionaire brothers Daniel and Richard Tsai. Fubon is already a shareholder in the business.
